Partner Engagement Specialist
⭐ About Tagvenue
At Tagvenue, we’re building a SaaS-enabled marketplace that is redefining how people discover and book venues around the world. We’re a team of highly capable and deeply curious people who care about solving meaningful problems and influencing how the venue-hire market operates globally.
Every month, thousands of events are planned through Tagvenue – from corporate offsites and private dinners to workshops, film productions, and weddings. We connect people with unique spaces by finding the best match between what users need and the venues available on our marketplace.
As we scale, we’re investing heavily in engaging and empowering our partners – the venue managers. We focus on education, guidance, and hands-on support to ensure venues use Tagvenue’s functionality to its full potential and deliver the best possible experience to our users.
⭐ About the Role
As a Partner Engagement Specialist in our Marketplace Operations Team, you will be the primary owner of relationships with venue partners across our EU market (UK + Ireland). You’ll proactively engage with venue managers, help them stay active and compliant on the marketplace, and guide them in using Tagvenue’s tools to maximise their visibility, booking success, and overall performance.
Your mission: help outstanding venues deliver exceptional service to our users and thrive within the Tagvenue marketplace!
⭐ What You’ll Do
Spend around 75 percent of your time on high-volume proactive outreach to venue managers (phone, email, in-app). Influence behaviours that improve marketplace performance by preventing auto-expiry, boosting response speed, educating on offences and T&Cs, demoing new features, gathering feedback, and building strong, trust-based relationships.
Respond quickly to system alerts and risk signals (slow responses, violations, engagement drops) and stay within SLA. Work with the team to refine dashboards and improve alert accuracy.
Identify and manage policy-breaking cases by explaining issues, clarifying T&Cs, coaching venues back to compliance, and documenting outcomes. Apply suspensions or escalate delistings when necessary, and reinstate venues once compliant.
Communicate and negotiate commercial terms with venue managers, ensuring all agreements are accurately recorded in internal systems.
Support feature rollouts and adoption by promoting new tools, educating venues, and contributing to Help Centre materials and how-to guides.
Assess venue performance and escalation cases individually, selecting the right engagement approach and offering practical, tailored solutions.
Balance partner needs with Tagvenue policies, aiming to keep as many high-quality, proactive venues active as possible while safeguarding user experience.
Contribute to team goals such as improving response speed and communication quality, preventing enquiry auto-expiry, reducing repeated offences, managing suspensions and reactivations, maintaining accurate contact details, and overseeing venue performance to drive an excellent user experience.
⭐ What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of experience in high-volume external B2B outreach, managing large partner pipelines, running structured follow-ups, and driving behavioural improvements at scale.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills, including persuasion, conflict resolution, and problem solving.
Proactive, self-driven, and venue centric. Comfortable taking ownership, initiating outreach, following up, and nurturing long-term relationships.
Strong time management, prioritisation, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Customer-first mindset with up-selling skills.
Analytical and data-driven approach, able to monitor partner performance, identify trends or red flags, and recommend actions.
Collaborative and comfortable working cross-functionally with product, operations, growth, and support. Fluent in English at C1+ level.
Strong plus: project coordination, CRM tools, reporting, background in SaaS, marketplace, or platform businesses.

About Tagvenue
Tagvenue, founded in 2015 by Artur Stepaniak and Maksim Kondratjuks in London, began as a bold vision to simplify venue hire for event planners worldwide. What started as a local search engine in the UK to connect planners with unique spaces has evolved into one of the world’s fastest-growing online marketplaces for venue hire, now spanning six countries: the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Singapore, Canada, and the United States. With over 20,000 verified venues, ranging from popular restaurants and bars to quirky spaces, grand castles, and converted warehouses to elegant ballrooms, conference centers, and photo studios—Tagvenue empowers 700,000 active event organizers monthly to plan over 40,000 events annually.
