Senior Marketplace Revenue Operations Specialist
About Tagvenue
At Tagvenue, we’re building a SaaS-enabled marketplace that is redefining how people discover and book venues around the world. We’re a team of highly capable and deeply curious people who care about solving meaningful problems and influencing how the venue-hire market operates globally. As we scale, we’re building a next-generation revenue engine — powered by automation, system logic and data-driven decision making — to make our marketplace smarter, more accurate and more efficient with every interaction. If you’re energized by ownership, modern tooling, and making a measurable impact at scale, this role gives you the opportunity to shape how revenue flows through our platform and how our marketplace evolves.
About the Role
As Senior Marketplace Revenue Operations Specialist, you will own and optimise how revenue is generated, captured and protected across the marketplace — from booking tracking to accurate commission recording. You’ll use commercial logic, data insights and automation to improve revenue capture, uncover hidden bookings and reduce operational costs, while shaping the system rules that power our marketplace across Operations, Finance, Product, Growth and Data. You will also oversee both payment streams—online Stripe payments and all invoice-based workflows.
Ultimately, your mission is to maximise marketplace revenue by strengthening booking detection, ensuring accurate commission capture and streamlining all revenue-related operations. It’s a role for someone who wants to dive deep, build smart processes, and influence the heart of a global marketplace as it scales.
What You’ll Do
Revenue Engine & System Logic
- Own the operational logic behind booking capture: LLM labels, n8n workflows, back office tool’s rules
- Design and improve the systems that detect hidden bookings, incorrect final spends and other leakage points
- Build automated processes that make revenue capture accurate and scalable
Commercial & Operational Ownership
- Manage and optimise special agreements, pricing terms and commission logic
- Own and improve cost-per-process metrics (cost per booking capture, cost per acquiring final spend)
- Prepare ROI models before launching any outreach, automation or system-change projects
Data & Investigations
- Analyse patterns, anomalies and gaps in our revenue data
- Run investigations into hidden bookings or mismatches and turn leakage insights into new system rules
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy and integrity within Marketplace Operations
Ownership & Growth
- Operate with high autonomy and end-to-end accountability
- As the marketplace scales, grow into a role with broader leadership scope
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Product, Growth, Data and Operations to ensure your logic is embedded across the platform
- Lead the revenue-ops contribution to WBR/MBR/QBR performance meetings
- Translate insights into product improvements, automation opportunities and operational strategies
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Commercial Operations, Marketplace Operations or similar analytical/commercial roles
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to connect operational actions to revenue impact
- Investigative mindset — ability to spot anomalies, dive deep and design preventative logic
- Data-driven, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with BI / analytical environments
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., n8n) or enthusiasm to learn them quickly
- Ability to manage projects end-to-end, including building ROI models
- Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally in English (C1+)
- Experience in SaaS, marketplace, or platform businesses is a strong plus
What Makes Us a Great Place to Work
- Competitive compensation on B2B contract
- Flexible working hours
- 24 paid days off per year & all bank holidays
- Birthday day off
- Private healthcare
- Growth budget for books and courses
- And because we’re part of the events industry, we celebrate: every quarter, we meet in Kraków to connect in person, recharge, and have fun together 🎉

About Tagvenue
Tagvenue, founded in 2015 by Artur Stepaniak and Maksim Kondratjuks in London, began as a bold vision to simplify venue hire for event planners worldwide. What started as a local search engine in the UK to connect planners with unique spaces has evolved into one of the world’s fastest-growing online marketplaces for venue hire, now spanning six countries: the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Singapore, Canada, and the United States. With over 20,000 verified venues, ranging from popular restaurants and bars to quirky spaces, grand castles, and converted warehouses to elegant ballrooms, conference centers, and photo studios—Tagvenue empowers 700,000 active event organizers monthly to plan over 40,000 events annually.
