Customer Operations Manager (APAC time zone)
We are Tagvenue - one of the world’s fastest-growing online marketplaces for venue hire with over 8,000 event spaces listed in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Canada, USA and Singapore. In 2020, we launched a new product - Tagvenue Virtual - a video platform that provides a variety of interactive games that can be played by remote teams.
Currently, we’re hiring a Customer Operations Manager. This position is 100% remote within the APAC time zone.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Customer Operations Manager, you will be working closely with a group of highly motivated individuals that ensure our customers and venue partners have the best experience and satisfaction on our platform. The team is tasked with ensuring that the Tagvenue rules and standards are maintained across all markets. Their daily activities focus on connecting with our partners and customers in a remote setting while working closely as a team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building, leading and growing the team that can deliver amazing results on time
- Adjusting team weekly and daily priorities to ensure that the team is hitting the target
- Growing your region's revenues through hitting your team's targets and KPIs
- Iterating and developing processes that improve key market KPIs
- Ensuring that all customer enquiries and issues are solved correctly and in a prompt and professional manner
- Acting as a performance role model to your team and helping to drive performance and an inspiring environment aligned with our culture
- Assisting with the development and implementation of service policies, and explaining these to the employees and customers
- Building and maintaining relationships with other leaders to ensure close collaboration and alignment
A rough guide of work distribution:
- Working with customers and partners to achieve goals - 50% of the time
- Team management- 30% of the time
- Meetings, alignments with founders and leaders - 20% of the time
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Experience in people management in a dynamic environment, supervising 5+ employees
- Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills that can tailor your message to your audience
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- You are a self-starter who thrives working independently, with minimal supervision, in a collaborative, kind, and supportive environment
- You comfortably ask “why” and challenge the status quo
- You advocate changes and cultivate innovation
- Ability to work within the APAC time zone
